This is it...

Well, today is Election Day, and we're gonna go vote.I'll be glad when this whole thing is over and settled, but, as a country, we've just begun the ride. Things are gonna get pretty darned interesting.(Not in a good way, either)

I keep reminding myself that these things have to happen, and that what is written in the Bible is happening daily...prophecy is being fulfilled almost daily. That's exciting to be alive to witness, but at the same time, it makes me a little sad.

I guess mostly I'm sad because those who are unbelievers will be left behind to experience the worst tribulation ever known to man. Every bit of godliness will be removed from this earth, and all that will be left will be evil. People who have rejected Christ will suffer SO greatly....the reality of it all is what saddens me.

How horrible it will be for them. I'm glad they will have one more chance to surrender their lives to Christ and follow Him (only)...but the price for that then will be extreme persecution, torture, prison, death (if they are fortunate).

All because they were too "smart" to accept the simple Truth of the Gospel...they are sinners (just like the rest of us), they have broken God's Law (the 10 Commandments, which they all worked so hard to make "disappear"), they cannot justify themselves before a Holy and Righteous God (just like we can't justify our horrid crimes before a judge and just walk away), Christ took their place in God's courtroom (He took all our "crimes"...sin....upon Himself, and paid the "fine" for us), they could be found "not guilty" by God-had they accepted His terms...redemption through His Son, but by not repenting (admitting to God they are guilty as charged and ready to turn away from their sin and go His way)....they are bound for Hell....which will make the days of tribulation look like a cake-walk. Those days will end....Hell will never end. Never. Endless torture, day and night, for all eternity.

Anyway...that makes me really sad. These days are glorious for us who follow Jesus, but I don't want anyone to perish, and neither does God.

People sure hate having rules and boundaries, don't they? Rebelliousness cames with SUCH a high price-tag.

Anyway....we're gonna go vote. Nothing will happen without God's consent.

Welcome to the last days of this world.

Come Lord Jesus, come!
